Clay bar treatment is the process of using a fine automotive clay bar with lubricant to pull bonded contaminants from your paint — the particles that regular washing can't remove. Industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, tree sap, and road tar all bond to clear coat over time and create a rough, gritty surface that accelerates wear. A clay bar treatment leaves your paint slick, smooth, and properly prepared for any protective coating. It's included in our premium exterior and paint correction services, or can be booked as a standalone add-on.
Wash your car and run a plastic bag over a dry panel. If it catches or feels rough (like sandpaper), you have contamination that needs clay bar removal.
